FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE BRONZE GILT MANTEL CLOCK BY JAPY FRERES

DESCRIPTION

A decorative French Louis XVI style bronze gilt antique mantel clock from the Victorian period with inset porcelain panels hand painted with floral designs. The case is surmounted with a cherub figure reading from a book and the clock has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals with the retailers name:-

The movement is an eight day during on outside count wheel which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The back plate has the makers name:-
