OUR STORY

Paul's first introduction to the antique world was by his Grandfather who was injured in WWII. His Grandfather moved to a settlement in Macclesfield which helped rehabilitate injured service men. His job role at the settlement was a French polisher.

At an early age Paul started helping out his Grandfather in his workshop which is where his passion for working with wood and other materials developed.

From leaving school he went on to work for Cheshire Antiques for several years before establishing his own business Arrowsmith Antiques and Restoration which has now been going for 30 years.

Throughout his years in the business he has restored and sold to some of the most renowned dealers in the country and his work has been seen in some of the best Antiques Fairs in the UK and abroad.

Through dedication the business has grown year on year and now sells to private clients, private collectors and interior designers across the globe.

Paul's daughter Claire joined the business in 2008 with a flair for design, interiors and all things creative. Her passion is to integrate antiques into a contemporary setting and she can advise a customer on a style concept. Arrowsmith Antiques is very much a family business with Paul's wife Julie dealing with the administration side.

Arrowsmith Antiques pride themselves on supplying their customers with beautiful items for their home and offering a fantastic customer service.
