A fine quality late Georgian black lacquered walnut frame antique armchair in the Queen Anne style decorated in chinoiserie design with beautifully hand painted gilt detail and raised gesso design. The chair has a pagoda in the water with green and red lacquered flowers to the back splat and dragons to the stiles finished with shaped arms and supports. The apron has delicately hand painted birds with red lacquered flowers to the rounded corners and pagodas to the front terminating to  cabriole shaped legs and pad feet.


The chair has a drop in seat which has been newly upholstered and covered in a gold tone chenille fabric and the frame is in lovely condition with wear consistent with age.

Small goods will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number. Large items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase but please allow three weeks.

We accept returns within 14 days providing the customer pays for the return and the item is in the same condition we sold it in and it is packaged well.

All items are provided with an invoice stating item description, age and price.
