AGATE AND BRONZE GILT MID-CENTURY TABLE LAMP BY WILLY DARO
DESCRIPTION
A superb quality Mid-Century gilt metal and agate table lamp lighting sculpture by Belgian designer Willy Daro. Each of the petals are made from sliced polished agate and have been edged in gilt metal which when lit shows the natural beauty in the pattern of the stone.
The statement lamp stands on a polished gilt metal base with curved gilt metal stem and the three flowers are finished with gilt metal and silver plated leaf motifs to the centre. The lamp has a single bulb holder and retains its original silk lampshade which is in excellent condition.
The lamp is in full working order.
Willy Daro was born in Belgium and worked in Brussels from the late 1960's through to 1987. He used brass, gilt metal and chrome and combined it with natural materials like agate, coral and shells to create unique, luxurious pieces which are very collectable

We accept returns within 14 days providing the customer pays for the return and the item is in the same condition we sold it in and it is packaged well.
