REGENCY MAHOGANY ANTIQUE SOFA TABLE
DESCRIPTION
An exceptional quality free standing Regency antique sofa table in figured mahogany with ebony scroll and string inlay to the top and rosewood cross banded edge. The table has two working drawers and two dummy drawers with rope twist ormolu mouldings to the edges and decorative brass rose embossed handles.
The table has two flat baluster shaped supports stood on a platform base with out swept legs and finished with ebony string inlay, anthemion and rose decorative ormolu mounts and lions paw casters.
This beautiful piece of furniture would look fantastic in a bay window or entrance hall styled with a vase of flowers or photo frames and a table lamp.
