William IV Pollard Oak Cellarette

A fine William IV pollard oak sarcophagus shaped cellarette with cross banding, chamfer top and inlaid ebony diamond shaped escutcheon standing on turned bun feet. When opened the cellarette reveals a mahogany interior with six large compartments for storing wine, champagne or spirit bottles. The box retains its original brass hinges, working lock and key.
