FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE BOULLE ANTIQUE WRITING TABLE

DESCRIPTION

An outstanding and rare exhibition quality Victorian period free standing French Louis XV style serpentine shaped boulle engraved brass and red tortoise shell antique writing table or centre table with blue and green coloured enamel inlays. The table still retains its old maroon leather top with gilt tooled detail.

The table has exceptional deeply shaped cabriole legs which are ebonised on the insides with magnificent quality deep cast scroll leaf and cherub bronze gilt chased mounts and feet. The frieze of the table is fitted with an oak lined drawer and cast acanthus leaf mouldings with four demi-god mounts to each side.

The table frame is made of oak which again is a sign of quality.
 
The table has two worn oval paper labels with the makers name:-

Small goods will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number. Large items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks of purchase but please allow three weeks.

We accept returns within 14 days providing the customer pays for the return and the item is in the same condition we sold it in and it is packaged well.
