French Belle Epoque Brass and Champleve Mantel Clock by Samuel Marti
An extremely good quality French Belle Époque brass mantel clock with a beautiful champlevé coloured enamel front and mouldings. The clock has fluted Corinthian columns to the front corners with decorative rams head capitals and scroll relief design to the moulding.
The clock has a brass dial with a champlevé centre and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.
The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:-
