French Belle Epoque Brass Mantel Clock
A very impressive and decorative French Belle Epoque brass mantel clock with scrolling design throughout, corner columns and finials to the top. The clock has a brass dial with white enamel numerals and an eight day French movement with an outside count wheel which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The movement has the makers name:-
E. Portelance is registered as working at Rue de Naples in Paris in 1870.
The brass has been cleaned and lacquered.
